Read our joint statement with six allied organisations who are gravely concerned by developments in Singapore since early August 2024. The authorities carried out two executions in violation of international safeguards and limited the right to freedom of expression of a local NGO.

We, the undersigned organisations, call on the state of Singapore to halt executions and declare a moratorium on its use of capital punishment as first steps.
